Pam Chillemi-Yeager 's first writing venture was in the sixth grade with an essay competition on world peace. She was rather nervous going to the Mother Superior's office to read it aloud on the school PA system. Sidetracked by adolescence and a need to make a living, writing was temporarily sidelined as she went to college and toiled in social work for over fifteen years, fulfilling her creative urges in community and repertory theater. The writing bug resurfaced and her first story, a fantasy, was sold to the now defunct After Hours magazine in 1990. Since then, Pam has published numerous short stories. Along with John Davies, she co-edited a speculative digest, Fantasque.
The first in a suspense series, Deadly Tattoo: the First Day of Christmas, was published by Terradan Press in 2008, followed by Twisted Plan and Savaged Hearts. The Young Adult novel, The Cooking Class, was published by Fiction Terrifica. A member of the dramatic honor fraternity, Alpha Psi Omega, Pam adapted the novel into a play, which was produced and performed in Charlotte, NC, where she and her family lived for fourteen years. Pam provided the text(lyrics)for Dr. P.Brent Register's award winning song cycle, Beyond the Bedroom Window. She now makes her home in the heart of PA Dutch country, where she works on various projects. Her dramedic novel, Angel Talk is currently being marketed. She is represented by The Pratt Literary Group.
